Knowledge/Experience supporting multiple client engagements providing project management and system engineering services for the Department of Defense (DoD). Activities focused on program planning and program execution, to include but not limited to acquisition strategy development, Request for Proposal (RFP) development, source selection support, and contract execution oversight or control to include, supporting key milestones, test events, and design reviews. Develop, review and analyze critical program execution metrics. Management of programs and projects in accordance with DoD 5000 series. DoD space systems experience required. Routine travel to remote Client work locations may be required.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree in related area (Master’s Degree Preferred). Minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Clearance will be required, Active Secret or TS a plus.
Knowledge/Experience supporting multiple government and contractor technical teams performing systems engineering on complex space systems. Provide systems engineering support in the broad areas of requirements review/compliance, technical review and assessment, risk assessment, integration and test review, and on-site (CONUS contractor facilities) monitoring, verification, and validation, and written technical summaries as required. Recent DoD space systems experience required.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (Aero/Sys/Electrical desired), Master’s Degree Preferred. Minimum of 5 years relevant technical experience, prefer in space-based DoD systems. Clearance will be required, Active Secret or TS a plus.
Knowledge/Experience in Solid IT fundamentals, computers, network, and security for the Department of Defense. Responsible for all aspects of information technology for Canyon Consulting. This position will assist with the maintenance of the technical core of Canyon Consulting. Will need to work with everyone within the company troubleshooting problems and learning along the way. Will need to manage the infrastructure of the technical side of the company and help deploy software solutions to our staff. Will need to learn and enact cyber security policies as defined by the NISP/CMMC. Support and maintain various computers, laptops, and associated equipment for the company. Issue computers and laptops to new employees. Maintain licenses for various applications for the staff to include AWS, MS Office, Adobe, MS Project, Anti-Virus, etc. Ensure NIST 800-171 Compliance. Will need to obtain and maintain personnel security clearance.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree (experience may be substituted for education). Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Fluency in AWS, Jira, GIT, HTML, CSS, JS, JSON, and Python desired. Clearance will be required, Active Secret a plus.
Knowledge/Experience working on cost estimating/cost modeling projects for the DoD. Analyses of financial and schedule data provided by program offices. Analyses and recommendations for risk assessment, schedule, and alignment with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Development, maintenance, and deliverables documenting and supporting cost estimates for Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs) and non-MDAPs IAW applicable program Cost Analysis Requirements Documents (CARDs) and DoD, NSS, AF, and SMC regulations. Updating cost estimates such as: Program Office Estimates (POEs), Single Best Estimates (SBEs), non-MDAP Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs), Independent Cost Analyses (ICAs), Sufficiency Reviews (SRs), Cost Excursions, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Service Cost Positions (SCPs), Program Executive Officer (PEO) Estimates in support of annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, Independent Program Assessments (IPAs), Milestone Reviews, and Interim Program Reviews. DoD Space systems experience required.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Business related area (i.e., accounting, finance, cost, schedule, economics, etc.) Master’s desired; Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Related experience in Earned Value Management, Financial Management, Scheduling, or Program Planning a plus. Clearance will be required, Active Secret or TS a plus.
Knowledge/Experience working on scheduling and/or program planning for the DoD. Develop and maintain an entire project’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Identify and incorporate activities into the schedule through Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements and supportable work packages. Ensure schedule activities/products can be “rolled-up” and presented to management. Perform “what-if” scenarios, analyses, risk model maintenance and analyses, Earned Value Management (EVM) data analyses, and presentation of materials. Schedule estimating, schedule analyses, performance measurement (EVM), project forecasting, and risk assessment.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree (or substitute experience); minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Fluency in MSProject, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Working knowledge of EVM guidelines. Related experience in Earned Value Management, Financial Management, Program Management a plus. Clearance will be required, Active Secret or TS a plus.
Knowledge /Experience working on Earned Value Management (EVM) for the DoD. Review and analyses of contractor EVM reports provided to the Government. Participation in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and evaluation of contractor EVM systems. Examine work products and processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and compliance to governing regulations and instructions.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree in related area (i.e., business, accounting, engineering, math, economics) a Masters is preferred; minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Clearance will be required, Active Secret or TS a plus.
Knowledge/Experience in acquisition reporting, financial forms and systems, and business financial administrative support for the Department of Defense. Experience in some or all of the following areas: business operations; suspense management; government financial data reporting (i.e., MARS, SARS, PRs, DAES, etc.); process/program management; budgeting and accounting; briefing charts; meeting facilitation; scheduling; etc.

Need: Bachelor’s Degree in related area (i.e., business, accounting, finance); experience may be substituted for education. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Clearance will be required, Active Secret a plus.
Knowledge/Experience in administrative support and business operations analyses for the Department of Defense.
